These buttery garlic mushrooms will melt in your mouth in their herb garlic butter sauce. A delicious side dish prepared in 15 minutes.
INGREDIENTS
- 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 onion chopped
- 1 pound cremini mushrooms (button mushrooms)
- 2 tablespoons dry white wine, optional (Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, or a Sauvignon Blanc)
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves, chopped
- 2 tablespoons resh parsley, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
- Heat the butter and oil in a large pan or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sauté the onion until softened (about 3 minutes).
- Add the mushrooms and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden and crispy on the edges.
- Pour in the wine and cook for 2 minutes to reduce slightly.
- Stir in thyme, 1 tablespoon of parsley, and garlic. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Generously salt and pepper to taste.
- Sprinkle with remaining parsley and serve warm.
